this project culminated in an evening of performance called, Radiate. The work was influenced by the time that I spent in army bunkers at Fort Ward, Washington. My ensemble and I thought a lot about what it means to confine the human form. The title comes from the idea or maybe the hope that confinement is not entirely possible that the energy of a living being is always radiating beyond what binds it.
